I accidentally missed my movie time by 30 minutes. I thought, great, Fandango has an exchange policy so I can exchange the tickets for the next showing two hours later.
Fandango has a *** refund and exchange policy. They refused after me waiting on hold for a while because they said I called after the movie's start time! I told them that all I wanted to do was exchange the tickets for the next time--they would lose NO money. I didn't want the convenience fee refunded or anything...just a new ticket time.
Both reps I spoke with just kept repeating the policy of no exchanges or refunds after the start time. WTF. That is insanely STUPID.
Every ticket has a barcode and the theaters either scan it or you go pick up your tickets at the kiosks or attendant. Fandango is able to tell if you use a ticket then...right??? So why the *** can't I get exchange tickets for the next showing???
