Fandango should be forced by law to state clearly in large bold type right at the movie and ticket display that YOU DO NOT GET A TICKET. YOU STILL HAVE TO GO EARLY AND STAND IN LINE TO GET YOUR TICKET. And the PRICE SHOWN should be mandated to INCLUDE THIER EXTRA FEE !!!!! And, if you change your mind, you don't get the fee back. I purchased 2 tickets to a show on 11/19/16. I was unable to attend due to inclement weather, so I requested a refund well within the respective time. The refund processed, and said it would take 3-5 business days to process. I gave a little bit of time due to the holidays, and contacted them via chat on 11/28. continued from above. I was there with my 6 grand kids and daughter to see Merona. My daughter had to leave due to 3 yr old needing restroom. I had to find 4 seats on one row and the other 4 in a row behind them. I asked the lady to remove her kids from our 2 seats. Her reply was I need to keep 3 together. We were out of town and not familiar with the area when we purchased tickets for a theater very far from us. Would not give a credit or a refund. Horrible customer service! DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!! Must have plenty of customers......they don't care about losing us! called customer care, said it was an issue with my email address, although i received the receipt and other emails from fandango at the same address. tried two other email addresses still no gift card. rep AIDA 247 wouldnt let me speak with her supervisor. would not give me a refund, said i have to wait 24 to 48 hours for something that should be delivered in 60 minutes, will never buy from them again, horrible experience, feels like they stole... I tried to purchase tickets the other day. At first it gave me the wrong date. I tried again and the wrong date showed up again. My final attempt the correct date showed up. I booked the ticket . On the date I was interned to go .. I checked the confirmation on my phone only to realize the wrong date was on the confirmation. I contacted customer service only to be quoted policy. "WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!! THEY WILL NEVER GET MY MONEY AGAIN. Twice now they have not offered any exchange for tickets that were bought at the wrong location. I purchased two tickets a couple hours before a show that didn't show up on my Fandango app under my account. In fact, I had a message that said my transaction didn't go through. So, I bought two more tickets. Then after the show and checking my email at home I found out that Fandango had emailed copies of tickets to me that they said I hadn't purchased on my phone. I ordered tix. It said my credit card couldn't go through because it was the wrong zip code. But the charge is pending with my bank and I don't have access to my own $31....AND NO TICKETS. Customer service said to contact my bank, as did the customer service manager. My bank said Fandango put it through, and I could dispute it. We did, but we are still out the $31.
