The grand kids put money on a fandango gift card. Sent five minutes generating and printing the ticket went to the theater and was told I had to stand in the line the fandango ticket is the same as a credit card. The ticket needed scanned ok I presented the ticket along with my reward card and was told reward card is void when using Fandango. Complete incompetence with this company!! I ordered two tickets for Bad Moms last night and used those two tickets, however I realized this morning that the app somehow duplicated the transaction and their customer service people are so incompetent that hey simply keep regurgitating their scripting stating they cannot refund me after the show. I tried to use a Fandango gift card for a matinee. Went to the theater and was told you can only use the gift card online to buy tickets. I go to the online website to purchase tickets for a matinee that starts at 1240 pm. Only to find out you have to pay FULL price for the tickets online (can't get the $5.00 matinee pricing). My son bought tickets online for the wrong theater. When he arrived, the Aliso Viejo theater would not accept his tickets and made him pay a second time. He called the number on the receipt but it's automated and he could not get help. The worst customer service I've ever received! After trying to exchange my movie ticket for literally hours prior to the movie I could not get a hold of anyone until after my movie showing and by that point I was unable to get an exchange or a refund. These people steal from you. Never using fandango again.

I purchased tickets for four two days prior to movie so we could get seats we wanted. As we went to enter the movie I noticed that the ticket seating selection and the theater number were different . I went back and checked with the ticket gal and was told they had switched the theater number and we were now in theater 7 instead of 5. DO NOT USE FANDANGO! OUR SON WAS NOT FEELING WELL. WE PURCHASED TWO SETS OF TICKETS FOR THE SAME EVENING, HOPING HE MIGHT FEEL BETTER. Ohhhh yeah they suck! I just called them because I paid for IMAX tix and at the theater the usher directed us into the non imax reg theater room and we didn't know til the movie started, that it wasn't the imax room (we have never been to that theater).
